Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FitLock ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

FitLock is a digital wellness application that restricts access to selected apps until the user completes a verified workout. The App uses on-device AI pose detection to count exercise repetitions (push-ups and squats) and unlocks apps for a configurable duration upon completion. It is intended as a self-motivation and screen time management tool.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for selecting appropriate exercises and rep counts for your fitness level.
You agree to use the App at your own risk and consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App, or have parental consent.
You are responsible for maintaining a safe exercise environment when using the camera-based workout feature.

Health Disclaimer

FitLock is not a medical device and does not provide health or fitness advice. The exercise detection feature is designed for convenience and motivation — it is not a substitute for professional fitness guidance. Always exercise within your limits and stop immediately if you experience pain or discomfort.

Exercise Detection Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, the AI pose detection system may occasionally miscount reps or fail to detect exercises properly depending on lighting, camera angle, and body positioning. An emergency override is available to unlock apps when needed.

Screen Time & App Restrictions

FitLock uses Apple's FamilyControls and Screen Time frameworks to restrict app access. By granting Screen Time authorization, you consent to the App managing app restrictions on your behalf. You can revoke this access at any time through your device's Screen Time settings.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by FitLock and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exercise detection will always be accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FitLock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to physical injury from exercise, missed access to apps, or data loss.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
