We're here to help you get the most out of FitLock.
FitLock uses Apple's Screen Time to lock selected apps on your device. To unlock them, you complete a workout (push-ups or squats) while the app watches through your camera. AI pose detection counts your reps in real time. Once you hit your target, apps unlock for your chosen duration.
Currently FitLock supports push-ups and squats. The AI tracks your body joints and counts reps based on proper form — going down past the threshold angle and back up counts as one rep.
The pose detection works best with good lighting and your full body visible in the camera frame. Place your phone a few feet away so the camera can see your entire body. The app processes every 3rd frame for optimal performance.
Make sure you have good lighting and your full body is in frame. If the app still can't detect your pose, try adjusting the camera angle. An emergency override is available in Settings if you need to unlock apps immediately.
Go to Settings in the app and tap "Select Apps to Lock". FitLock uses Apple's FamilyControls picker, which lets you choose any combination of installed apps. You'll need to grant Screen Time authorization on first use.
You can configure the unlock duration in Settings. Options range from 30 minutes to 12 hours. When auto-lock is enabled, apps automatically re-lock when the timer expires.
Yes. All pose detection happens entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No camera footage, body pose data, or workout recordings ever leave your phone. We never see or store any of your camera data.
Make sure you've granted camera permission. Go to Settings > FitLock > Camera and enable access. If the issue persists, try restarting the app.
